About Us

The Tribal Administration serves as the central location for Finance, IT, Project Management, Human Resources, TERO and support services for all departments within the tribe. Our dedicated team ensures the smooth operation and coordination of essential functions to support the community and tribal initiatives.

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Walker River Paiute Tribe is to support individual and community self-determination and self sufficiency. To protect our tribal sovereignty and become self-sufficient; to provide opportunities to meet the need of the Tribal Members while maintaining the awareness of our Culture, Values, Tradition, Education, Language, History, Infrastructure, Health and Welfare. To manage and protect our natural resources, which empower our community for current and future generations. The Walker River Paiute has dedicated and committed leadership, which strongly advocates Tribal Sovereignty through government-to-government relations. We believe that it is our people who are our strength that empower us to be physically,mentally, emotionally and spiritually healthy. We strive to promote, preserve and protect the quality of lives for our Tribal Members.

  We have a suggestion box located in the entrance area at the Administration building.

The trailers located across the street from the administration building are for temporary use only. First come first serve to Law Enforcement, Health Staff, homeless and or emergencies. You can get request a copy of the trailer guidelines from the administration staff.

If you have a complaint, please use the complaint form located in the file holders in the waiting area at the Administration and return to Human Resources or the Chairman.

No, the Tax Department is open Monday through Friday 7a-5:30p.

Rental forms are available online or can be requested from the front office secretary. 

We are trying our best to serve our customers in person, via phone, and or email. Please be patient while we are on the other line or helping others in person. We will do our best to return your phone call by the end of close of business. 

An appointment is appreciated to ensure proper staff and information are readily accessible when requesting information or services from the tribe. 

Please submit an agenda request to the Executive Secretary and include the details for the donation. The council will hear the request at the next council meeting and determine the amount. Per resolution WR-17-2017 donations are determined by individual, group and youth criteria.
